Description

The Morakniv Companion is an all-in-one knife for outdoor enthusiasts with a patterned, high-friction grip that makes it comfortable to hold and easy to handle. The Companion features a 4.1-inch (104 mm) blade of hardened Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel with a three-quarter tang for outdoor and marine applications where knives are commonly exposed to dirt and moisture. Stainless steel knives are less susceptible to corrosion and oxidization than carbon steels, giving them a longer life overall, plus they maintain edge sharpness for optimum cutting performance. The Companion will perform well with camp food preparations, creating tinder, cutting small limbs, and much more. Includes a color-matching sheath with belt clip. Description

For use on clothing, tents, and other gear, Sawyer Premium Permethrin Clothing Insect Repellent not only repels insects, it actually kill ticks, mosquitoes, chiggers, mites, and more than 55 other kinds of insects on contact. It is also effective against the Yellow Fever Mosquito, which can transmit the Zika Virus.

Permethrin is odorless after drying and will not stain or damage clothing, fabrics, plastics, finished surfaces, or any of your outdoor gear. Use it while hunting for an odorless way to protect yourself from common bugs. The active ingredient Permethrin is a synthetic molecule similar to pyrethrum which is taken from the Chrysanthemum flower.

Sawyer Premium Permethrin comes in two sizes — a 12-ounce trigger spray bottle (for treating up to 2 complete outfits) and a 24-ounce trigger spray bottle (for treating up to 4 complete outfits). Sawyer Premium Permethrin is also available in a 9-ounce aerosol spray. A single application lasts up to six washings or up to 40 days of sun exposure. Repellent should be applied outdoors and before clothing is worn; after it’s treated, hang clothing and let dry 2 hours (4 hours in humid conditions).
